State Insurance Programs for Low Income Children

Comparisons were made because it had been found that uninsured children were much less likely to go to the doctor for common childhood ailments, they had less immunity built up against disease, and they had no common pediatric doctor. These uninsured children are more likely to be hospitalized for potentially preventable problems.
