It is believed that while immigrants are largely responsible for "building" the U.S.,-- the presence of illegal immigrants cannot be tolerated as their very existence suggests contempt towards our government.. We do not condone the actions of a needy impoverished citizen who burns down their own home to collect an insurance payment so why should we feel bad for a family who comes into the U.S. illegally to escape economic oppression ?
