National Security Demands and the Future
[ send me this paper ]
This 16 page report
briefly discusses the concepts related to national security
demands, defense, and warfare in the 21st century. Between the
ever-increasing degree of technological advancement taking place
throughout the world and the process of globalization of nations,
it is only sensible to anticipate an entirely new mindset
regarding national defense, security options, and the possible
disasters inherent in the so-called “rogue states” gaining access
to materials and technology that can bring them to a capability
level equal to that of the nations once referred to as the
“super-powers.” This paper focuses on what the author sees as
the most logical model for strategic planning in terms of warfare
in the next ten to twenty years -- the United States Air Force’s
already existing model of “expeditionary aerospace force” or EAF
theory. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
