Classifying Three NFL Teams According to Attitude
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page classification essay categorizing good, average and bad teams in the NFL. Team records are dynamic and change
annually, but the general attitude and tone of the larger organization generally does not. Taking
responsibility for the outcome of each game and giving opponents credit for being competent are
used as the primary criteria for classification here. The Tennessee Titans have the lead role as the
'good.' The Minnesota Vikings serves as the lukewarm one filling the role of average, and the
Dallas Cowboys serve to provide the 'bad' example. No sources listed.

Enhancing the Image of Errant Professional Sports Figures
[ send me this paper ]
A 10 page
paper discussing workable approaches to professional sports teams' crisis management. The
paper uses Panthers' Rae Carruth and the Baltimore Ravens' Ray Lewis as examples. Carruth was
convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. Ray Lewis was implicated in a murder but
was acquitted. Both had the potential to damage the teams' image in their home cities, but it
appears that has not happened. Lewis even followed his summer acquittal with a season that
gained him the titles of league Defensive Player of the Year and the Super Bowl's MVP. The
Ravens were fortunate in not requiring concerted crisis management. Bibliography lists 13

Increased Ticket Pricing of Basketball
[ send me this paper ]
This 5 page report
discusses the fact that professional basketball ticket prices
have skyrocketed in the past few years. The average fan cannot
afford a ticket, much less a ticket for a good seat. One has to
wonder what sort of impact the lack of affordability and the
elitism that has evolved around basketball will ultimately have
in terms of game attendance, present behavior of spectators, and
the future behavior of fans. A number of factors have combined to
cause such a situation and team owners and management must
develop a number of creative ways of responding to the situation
if they are to continue to maintain a full house of fans on game
nights. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
